Zenyatta trainer Shirreffs confirms Life Is Sweet for Dubai World Cup; Courageous Cat added to Duty Free

Trainer John Shirreffs confirmed that Breeders’ Cup Ladies Classic (G1) winner Life Is Sweet will indeed be one of the runners for the 2010 Dubai World Cup (G1) at Meydan.  Owned by Pam & Marty Wygod, she demolished the field a day in advance of stable companion Zenyatta running down the boys in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1).  Also of note, the Wygod’s are sending accomplished turfer Courageous Cat, a close second behind Goldikova in the 2009 Breeders’ Cup Mile (G1) and most recently winner of the Canadian Turf Cup (G2) at Gulfstream Park, for a start in the Dubai Duty Free (G1).  Bill Mott, trainer of the first Dubai World Cup winner Cigar, trains Courageous Cat.
