Unusual Suspect hopes to take advantage of upgraded Dubai Gold Cup

With a $1 million purse and an upgrade to Group 3 status, the Dubai Gold Cup is the first major top class stayers event on the global racing calendar.  Former American-based turfer Unusual Suspect was exported to Australia to run in some of their top stayer events, eventually finishing ninth in the 2011 Emirates Melbourne Cup, and will now be off to Dubai with a similar goal. The story continues from the Illawarra Mercury.
