After a topsy-turvy winter in Dubai, 2009 UAE Oaks champion Devotee is set to make the her second American start of the season in Saturday’s Coaching Club American Oaks (G1) over ten furlongs at Belmont Park. The daughter of Elusive Quality was assigned morning line odds of 12-1 following a third place finish in an allowance race on July 3. With a slate of checkered past performances, Devotee is as likely to pop a big race in a big spot as anyone in this particular field.
