As the 2015 Dubai World Cup Carnival approaches, the Dubai Racing Club introduced three new dirt races, all listed, as part of the local season leading into the Carnival. Scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, December 18, 2014 as part of a six-race meeting, these races should prove able preps into the Carnival. The new races are as follows:
Dubai Creek Mile – 1,600m – dirt
Entisar – 2,000m – dirt
Garhoud Sprint – 1,200m – dirt
All three carry purses of AED 165,000. These races can serve as preps for early season Carnival races, including the Maktoum Challenge Round 1 (G2), the Dubawi, and others.
