Entries released for UAE’s opening triple-header of 2009/2010 racing season

Hammadi upsets Jebel Ali Sprint

Carrying just a 90 in the handicap ratings, Malih Al Basti’s Hammadi found the touch in a 16 horse field, winning the AED500,000 Jebel Ali Sprint on Friday.  The son of Red Ransom led through the early stages and was headed by Frosty Secret before fighting back in the final strides, winning by a nose.  [...]
