Sole Power wins Nunthorpe again

A thrilling renewal of the Nunthorpe Stakes (G1) went the way of its 2010 winner Sole Power, giving trainer Eddie Lynam yet another Group 1 sprint win in the UK, this time at York. Overall, it was the third consecutive win for the 7-year-old, who has made regular visits to Meydan over the last few years. Shea Shea, winner of the 2013 Al Quoz Sprint, finished 12th and was retired to Mauritzfontein in South Africa.
