Sheema Classic winner Cirrus Des Aigles back in Dollar

Off since a second in the Prix d’Ispahan (G1) this May, and later disqualified from that event due to an overage, 2012 Dubai Sheema Classic winner Cirrus Des Aigles is back, and heavily favoured in the Qatar Prix Dollar (G2) on Saturday at Longchamp.  He was victorious in his only other start since the Dubai win, the Prix Ganay (G1) over heavy ground on the same course in April.  The first of two phenomenal days of racing in Paris, Cirrus Des Aigles will meet Chinchon, also off since May when landing the Singapore Airlines International Cup (G1) in fine fashion.

Green Destiny, now based in the Czech Republic, is scheduled to start, as is Godolphin’s Hunter’s Light, a five-length winner over Dubai World Cup fourth Zazou in Turkey on September 1.  Dux Scholar, third in the Zabeel Mile (G2) in March at Meydan, runs in the Qatar Prix Daniel Wildenstein (G2).  More Dubai alums are scheduled to appear on Sunday in a melange of the top races on the Arc programme.
