The Al Rashidiya (G3), Thursday’s feature event at Meydan, is tentatively scheduled to have the most accomplished field in its history, led by Presvis. Second in the 2009 Dubai DutyFree (G1), winner of the Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup (G1), and second a nose to Gloria De Campeao in the Singapore International Airlines Cup (G1), Presvis enters the Al Rashidiya off a solid effort in the Hong Kong Vase, a third placing behind Good Ba Ba. Luca Cumani will be in search of a second 2010 Carnival win after his Drunken Sailor scored on opening night.
Other top nominees include Crowded House, Oiseau De Feu, Alexandros, and Rio De La Plata. Final entries are due Tuesday morning and DubaiRaceNight.com analysis will follow late that evening or Wednesday morning.
