Having never won beyond seven furlongs, PACO BOY is an unlikely short price for the Dubai Duty Free. Such has been the case throughout the week, however, and the Richard Hannon-trainee galloped over two laps of the turf course – which registers as almost 2.5 miles. Too much, too late?

As of this posting, Paco Boy was still sitting as the 9-2 lukewarm choice according to OddsChecker.com

Pat, Paco Boy is a false favourite in the UK. One bookmaker here claims to have laid a £10,000 bet (and with the obvious stamina doubts and the trainer’s lack lustre international record, why wouldn’t they?). And UK bookmakers always tend to go shorter than they should about our “own” horses anyway – for obvious reasons. In my view, Archipenko should be favourite.
I agree Steve. Had dinner with some very well-known folks in the UK who told me that Paco Boy should be 1000-1 to win.
