I read a story that said Orfevre’s connection’s are considering him for the Dubai World Cup and Sheema Classic both. His win against the best older horses in Japan in the Arima Kinen was one of the most impressive performance by a middle distance turf horse I’ve seen in awhile. In all candor, I think Orfevre could potentially run into a handful of horses with a better turn of foot at 10f on tapeta than he might have. But if Orfevre goes 12f on the turf in the Sheema Classic? This colt win’s the Sheema without even breathing hard, IMO.
