Modun joins Godolphin, Melbourne Cup goal, then Dubai

With Dubai racing graduates Lost In The Moment and Cavalryman already on the docket for Godolphin’s team at the 2011 Emirates Melbourne Cup (G1), the boys in blue added Modun from Sir Michael Stoute’s yard, with the intent to run at the Carnival after a post-Australia freshening.  The Racing Post has the story.

  1. Modun is still a lightly raced horse with a ton of potential. That had been very well trained by Sir Michael Stoute up to this point in his career. If Modun is sent to the barn of Mahmood Al Zarooni? He has a chance to continue with a fine stayers career. As Opinion Poll has continued to do. If he’s sent to the barn of Saeed Bin Suroor? Then stick a fork in Modun, because he’s done!! JMO.
