Joshua Tree certainly loves the turf course at Woodbine and he seems to love running in the G1 Canadian International Stakes. He's managed 2 wins and 1-2nd in the 3 times he's raced in the Canadian International Stakes now. Came into the race in rock solid form, too. In his 3 races prior to this year's Canadian International Stakes, Joshua Tree had finished 2nd in the G2 Princess of Wales Stakes at Newmarket, won the G2 Prix Kergolay in France, and finished 3rd behind two multiple G1 winners in Japan's Orfevre and Meandre in the G2 Prix Foy. I would love for Marco Botti to send Joshua Tree to Santa Anita in November for a crack at this year's G1 Breeders Cup Turf. But everything I've been reading post-Canadian International seems to suggest he'll return to Japan again to run in the G1 Japan Cup.
