The Mike De Kock trained turf sprinter J J The Jet Plane, a winner at the 2009 Dubai International Racing Carnival, will make his European debut on Monday at Windsor in the aptly named Up Up and Away Stakes (Listed).
After a sputtering international debut on dirt in Dubai, the South African sprinting star returned to the turf and aired in the Al Quoz Sprint (G3) on February 25. This son of Jet Master hasn’t been back since and De Kock’s assistant noted that a good run here could propel him to the Golden Jubilee Stakes (G1) at the Royal Ascot meet in mid-June.
Ryan Moore will have the ride.
