Game On Dude back in Californian Stakes on Saturday

The well-regarded Game On Dude, drawn wide and forced to rush the pace of the 2012 Dubai World Cup (G1) before fading to twelfth, will make his first start back from the desert on Saturday in the Californian Stakes (G2) at Betfair Hollywood Park.  Chantal Sutherland, who drew much attention for her first mount at Meydan, is back aboard for trainer Bob Baffert.  The short field of five includes two other millionaire-earners, Morning Line and Prayer for Relief, the latter a second entrant for Baffert.  Run over nine furlongs, Game On Dude has drawn the inside barrier and was installed the early favourite on the track’s morning line.
