The winner of the Goodwood (G1) at Santa Anita last October makes his long-awaited return to the races on Saturday, preparing for a possible tilt in the 2010 Dubai World Cup (G1). Trainer Marco Botti will prep his colt at Lingfield in the Winter Derby Trial Stakes. Kieren Fallon, now disengaged from Presvis, has the ride. Click HERE for more.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Noseda’s progressive sprinter Leahurst, a dual-winner at the 2010 Dubai International Racing Carnival, is being aimed for the Dubai Golden Shaheen (G1). Quoted on his website, Noseda says he is ”delighted with what he has achieved and he has lived up to all the expectations we had for him for the Carnival.” A tilt in the Dubai Golden Shaheen would mark the first step in stakes company for the son of Verglas, who is now an unbeaten 4-for-4 on the Tapeta.
