A field of 18 are due for Sunday’s Japan Cup (G1) at Tokyo Racecourse, led by 2014 Dubai Sheema Classic (G1) winner Gentildonna and 2014 Dubai Duty Free (G1) victor Just A Way. Gentildonna was victorious in the 2012 and 2013 edition of the Japan Cup, narrowly besting Denim And Ruby most recently, while Just A Way looks to prove he can get a longer trip after failing in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe (G1) over the 2,400 metres.
Here is the barrier draw for the Japan Cup. Godolphin’s Trading Leather was saddled with the widest post in the field of 18.

The Japan Cup is run 15:55, Tokyo time, on Sunday. Below, watch the 2013 Japan Cup.
