The second home in the 2009 UAE Derby (G2) and winner of the 2010 Mahab Al Shimaal (G3), Desert Party is scheduled to make his first start back since a lackluster eleventh in the 2010 Godolphin Mile (G2). Saturday’s Don Levine Memorial (Listed) at Philadelphia Park is the setting and a field of six foes are set to draw against the son of Street Cry.

The Levine, run over seven furlongs, could offer Desert Party a good bridge to better company over the course of the season. Riley Tucker, winner of the Iroquois at Churchill Downs in late May is a narrow favorite on the morning line with Desert Party the second choice. David Cohen, a winner of the 2006 Dubai Golden Shaheen (G1) on board Proud Tower Too, has the mount for Godolphin’s North American assistant trainer, Rick Mettee.
