Dandy Boy demolishes Wokingham at Royal Ascot

While HRH Princess Haya saw three horses in her colours booted home at the 2012 Royal Ascot meeting, the longshot score in the Wokingham of 2011 Dubai World Cup Carnival winner Dandy Boy was definitely a highlight for the followers of racing in the UAE.  Trained by David Marnane and ridden by Patrick Dobbs, Dandy Boy is owned by the well-regarded Malih Al Basti, board member of the Dubai Racing Club, and the main proprietor of Al Basti Equiworld.

Black Caviar got the job done in the Diamond Jubilee (G1), preceded by more Godolphin success with Tha’ir landing the Chesham Stakes (Listed), offering another juvenile winner for their young stallion, New Approach.  It was a great week in Berkshire, and as always, we keep the ball rolling here on DubaiRaceNight.
