Jockey William Buick, winner on Dar Re Mi in the 2010 Dubai Sheema Classic (G1) and one of the leading riders during the current domestic season, was spilled twice on Thursday at Meydan. The first spill came in tight quarters as the field for Thursday’s third race was in the straight and Buick was quick to his feet. Two races later, Buick found tight quarters on the rail and his mount, Foolin Myself, bumped and dislodged the running rail, plus Buick. Reports since indicate the up-and-cover suffered a slight leg injury and possible concussion, but nothing that should keep him out too long. Click HERE for more from Jason Ford of the Racing Post.
